Our team serving New Zealand’s largest metropolitan area operates out of a modern facility in Takanini opened in 1996. The plant handles commercial collection material and product from kerbside recycling. It uses sophisticated processing equipment similar to our Napier plant. A drop-off area – open 24 hours a day, seven days a week – is also available on site.

In 2003, we introduced a new glass sorting line to reprocess recyclable glass rejected by the manufacturer. This recovery service is offered to processors throughout New Zealand.

Material processed at this facility destined for export is shipped out of the Port of Auckland.
